ALBERT HALL, MANCHESTER
Think bingo’s just for your gran? Think again.
Bongo’s Bingo has landed in Manchester, a chaotic and ironic version of the game complete with rave intervals, dance-offs and rubbish prizes - although there are big cash jackpots to be won too.
Hosted by the rambunctious Jonny Bongo, it is already a huge hit in Liverpool, where it sells out every week, and the Manchester version looks set to be just as popular after a full house at its first night at Albert Hall last Tuesday.
Organiser Joshua Burke said: “We still can’t believe the popularity of the Liverpool version and are now having to do two per week.
“When we approached the guys at Albert Hall we were shocked to find out they had already been over to Liverpool for the event and loved it.
“Working with them has been amazing and we look forward to doing so for a long time in the most beautiful space in Manchester.”
